Luca Paolini became a super-hero due to his last victory at the Gent — Wevelgem race.
He also won unexpectedly a stage in the Giro d’Italia in 2013 and here again he was the fist one in the Gent – Wevelgem classic. This is a magnificent victory not only for Italy, as the last Italian victory was in 2003, but also for the «Katusha» team, which will get some Pro-Tour points that will increase its rating and place the team on the higher level.
Paolini’s motivation, his fantastic attitude in the Tirreno-Adriatico, in addition to his marvelous physical form at Milan-San Remo, where he worked perfectly in the last part of the race, have helped him to become the best.
When we were in the Harelbeke classic, in a group of 30 riders, it was already easy to notice that he was in the excellent physical form.
His mood, passion, and weather conditions made their best to win the race on 29th of March. We all are very excited and delighted with his victory and we are ready for the podium in the nearest future again.
